Acquiring Assets

After you've acquired the necessary assets you can now transfer them to the XRP Ledger, ready to deposit into Strobe.

Firstly you'll be required to connect your EVM compatible wallet by pressing the 'Connect Wallet' option within the top half of the interface. This will open a pop-up where you can select your wallet extension and press 'Connect'

Once connected you'll need to select the asset and source chain by pressing on the asset name. Select the source chain as Ethereum along the left hand column and then search within the 'Token' search bar for the asset you wish to swap, USDC, WETH, or WBTC.

On the bottom half of the interface you'll select the destination chain and asset. Select the destination chain as XRPL and search for the same asset you were swapping from Ethereum.

After this you'll need to connect your Xaman wallet. By pressing 'Select Recipient' you'll have a new interface appear with the 'Connect' button or you can manually insert the XRPL address of your wallet. Pressing this will show a popup where you can select 'Xaman'.

If you choose to manually insert the address of your XRPL Xaman wallet you MUST have Trustlines already set up.

Scan the QR code that appears, signing any necessary transactions within your Xaman Wallet for connecting to the swap interface, or the setup of Trustlines if you haven't already.

After this, simply input the amount of asset you wish to swap onto the XRPL and select 'Swap'. After signing this transaction you'll need to wait for the bridging to be complete and the assets will appear in your Xaman wallet.

Please Note: Bridging from Ethereum to the XRPL can be a time consuming process, taking up to 20 minutes.
