# Borrow

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/orl7YdmrnE8>" %}

To borrow you must first have deposited assets as collateral. Once your collateral is supplied you will be able to borrow against it. You may borrow any available asset, regardless of which asset you supplied as collateral.

On the dashboard you will need to select the dashboard toggle for 'Borrow' or look for the 'Assets To Borrow' section, depending on your screen size and layout.

Selecting the ‘+’ will pop-up a new window where you can select how much you wish to borrow

1. You may manually input your desired borrow amount
2. You may select one of the 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% toggles of your borrowing limit
3. You may select **'Max'** to Borrow the maximum possible amount with your collateral

{% hint style="warning" %}
If you wish to borrow the maximum amount of an asset, ensure you use the **'100%'** or **'Max'** options instead of attempting to manually input the full number, as gas fees are taken into consideration when transactions are made.

After inputting your desired amount you will see the window change to reflect how much this will influence your account. Once you have confirmed, select **'Borrow'**

You will need to sign this transaction within your wallet application

You can track the transaction using a small pop-up, which can be expanded for further details

The dashboard will update to reflect your borrowed assets
